Hongqi And Huawei Announce Partnership, Flagship Model To Feature Kunpeng Intelligent Driving
On April 19, Hongqi, a brand under FAW, released a poster on its official Weibo account with the hashtag "Hongqi x Huawei Qiankun: A Powerful Collaboration."
The poster reads "H + H = ?", with the two H's representing Hongqi and Huawei.
In 2025, there were reports that Hongqi would be equipped with Huawei's Qiankun, mainly for the 9 series flagship models, such as EHS9 and HQ9.
This forms a high-low combination with Hongqi Tian Gong using Zhuoyu Intelligent Driving.
On April 23rd, Huawei Qiankun will hold a launch event in Beijing, where it is expected to officially announce its collaboration with Hongqi.
In late August 2025, Huawei Qiankun held its first test-drive event, where the Hongqi 9 Series made an appearance at the venue.
