Gac honda’s 2027 new car plans revealed: Including China-Developed Models
According to Kuai Technology on June 15, GAC Honda plans to launch three new models in 2027.They span three major areas: gasoline, hybrid, and new energy, including the all-new Accord, new products equipped with fifth-generation i-MMD hybrid technology, and self-developed models based on a China-specific new energy platform.
Starting in 2027, GAC Honda will fully introduce Honda’s fifth-generation i-MMD hybrid technology, which offers improvements in handling stability and lightweight design, with fuel efficiency improved by more than 10% compared with current models.
The first model equipped with the fifth-generation i-MMD is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2025.
Recently, GAC Honda launched the refreshed Breeze, offering a total of six models across gasoline and hybrid series.
The gasoline version has three models priced between 137,900 and 165,900 yuan, while the hybrid version has three models priced between 149,900 and 179,900 yuan.
Its core upgrade lies in the cloud car system solution jointly developed by GAC Honda and Huawei Cloud, featuring the all-new Honda CONNECT 4.0 intelligent connectivity system and supporting CarLife, HiCar, and CarPlay smartphone connectivity.
In addition, the second-row sliding seats support 16-stage 32° adjustment, paired with double-layer acoustic glass and a 12-speaker BOSE audio system.
The vehicle is available with both gasoline and hybrid powertrains.
The gasoline version is equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, which can deliver a maximum output of 142 kW and a peak torque of 243 N·m, with a combined fuel consumption of 7.41 liters per 100 kilometers.
The hybrid version is equipped with the fourth-generation i-MMD hybrid system, which combines a 2.0L Atkinson-cycle engine with a dual-motor two-speed E-CVT transmission. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 135 kW, while combined fuel consumption is as low as 5.49 liters per 100 kilometers.
