Evante Launches Deoxidizer to Enhance Recyclability of PET Packaging

Evante Company has announced the launch of its brand new...ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ Oxyloop™The first product in the oxygen scavenger portfolio ——ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ Oxyloop-1。

This advanced deoxygenation additive is specifically developed to enhance the recyclability of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) packaging, providing a reliable solution for brands striving to extend product shelf life, achieve sustainability goals, and contribute to building a more robust circular economy.

Scavenging performance is excellent and compatible with up to 100% recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET).

ColorMatrix™ Amosorb™ Oxyloop-1One major advantage is that even when the proportion of rPET in packaging materials is as high as 100%, it still exhibits excellent oxygen barrier performance. This characteristic ensures that packaging applications for categories such as juices, vitamin drinks, ready-to-drink teas (RTD), and some dairy products can effectively maintain product freshness and extend shelf life.

The additive has excellent bottle transparency and can be applied to single-layer or multi-layer bottle structures. It is also suitable for transparent packaging scenarios with high demands for recyclability. The formulation does not contain nylon components and can minimize the yellowing phenomenon of transparent recycled materials during the recycling process, maintaining the aesthetic appearance of transparent bottle packaging.
