Downstream demand remains weak, market spot supply is ample, and most traders have a cautious and bearish outlook, leading to a narrow decline in ABS market prices.

Price: In the East China market, the price of Jihua 0215A is quoted at 8000 yuan/ton, remaining stable compared to the previous working day; in the South China market, the price of Jieyang 0215A is quoted at 8400 yuan/ton, down 30 yuan/ton from the previous working day. As of the date of publication, the mainstream price range in the East China market is 7900-8100 yuan/ton.

On the upstream side: As of December 15, 2025, the average market price of styrene is 6,661 yuan/ton, an increase of 8 yuan/ton compared to the previous working day, with a rise of 0.12%. The market is trending upwards, with the mainstream spot price in East China referencing 6,660-6,700 yuan/ton. Styrene inventory at the docks has slightly decreased, and the market's supply liquidity continues to tighten. Additionally, there are still expectations of inventory reduction at the East China docks, boosting market sentiment and leading to a slight price increase, with good buying interest in the market. Future expectations indicate a stalemate between bullish and bearish sentiments, and caution is advised in chasing prices. It is anticipated that in the afternoon, the styrene market will remain strong, with the mainstream reference price range in East China expected to be 6,650-6,750 yuan/ton.

Future Forecast: The rebuilding of market confidence still requires clear guidance, with most market activities involving the replenishment of essential goods. It is expected that the domestic ABS market price will show a weak consolidation trend tomorrow. Taking East China 0215A as an example, the ABS market price is expected to be 7,900-8,100 yuan/ton.
