China Resources and Environment Group Launches Intelligent Plastic Processing Line
On August 5th, the intelligent plastic crushing and washing processing line of Zhongguo Zihuan Group's subsidiary, Dianzi Boyuan Environmental Protection, was officially put into operation. This initiative has not only achieved a key breakthrough in extending and strengthening the industrial chain, but also injected strong momentum into promoting the industry's development towards higher-end, smarter, and greener directions.
Zihuan Electronics Boyuan Environmental Protection is located in Panyu Industrial Park, Daye City, Hubei Province. As a leading domestic comprehensive service provider for harmless resource recycling, its core business focuses on the recycling, dismantling, processing, and reuse of waste resources such as used household appliances, small appliances, motor vehicles, and electromechanical equipment. Since December last year, in response to the low utilization efficiency of waste plastics during the dismantling of used household appliances, the company has upgraded and transformed its existing small appliance dismantling workshop to create an intelligent plastic crushing, washing, and processing line. Through processes such as crushing, washing, and sorting, this production line can convert the plastic shells of used household appliances into high value-added recycled materials, which can be widely used in fields such as textiles, automobiles, and electronic packaging. It is reported that the annual waste plastic processing capacity of this production line reaches 10,000 tons, which is equivalent to reducing approximately 40,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and saving about 50,000 tons of petroleum resources.
According to the Color Masterbatch Industry Network, in the process of promoting the recycling of waste plastic resources, Zihuan Electronics Boyuan Environmental Protection is driven by innovation, striving to break away from traditional path dependencies. For a long time, the traditional plastic recycling industry has faced challenges such as crude sorting and unstable quality of recycled materials. To address these issues, Boyuan Environmental Protection has collaborated with university teams from Wuhan Institute of Technology, Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, and others to tackle technical challenges. They have achieved key breakthroughs in the analysis of plastic types in small household appliances and micro-plastic processing techniques. To address issues like low sorting efficiency and high impurity residues, the company has introduced supergravity sorting technology. This technology uses centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation to achieve high-precision separation of mixed foreign objects in raw materials. It not only significantly enhances the purity and added value of the products but also reduces the risk of equipment wear. Additionally, the production line adopts internationally leading automated sorting technology, combining optical recognition, density sorting, and AI intelligent algorithms to accurately distinguish waste plastics of different materials and colors. The sorting purity reaches over 99%, effectively ensuring the high-quality and efficient production of recycled materials.
Under the guidance of the green and low-carbon development concept, Zihuan Electronics Boyuan Environmental Protection strictly adheres to environmental protection requirements throughout the entire plastic recycling process. To prevent dust pollution commonly generated during the crushing stage, the company has introduced negative pressure enclosed collection and pulse bag dust removal technologies, establishing a dust control network that covers the entire production line and successfully creating a clean production workshop. Unlike traditional plastic crushing and washing processes where water is used once and then directly discharged, Boyuan Environmental Protection employs a three-stage water recycling system. Through multi-level filtration, spatial sedimentation, and the deep integration of the recycling network, the cleaning water is treated in a graded manner. This reduces the water consumption per ton of plastic processed from 8 tons in traditional processes to less than 0.3 tons, achieving zero wastewater discharge during production and saving nearly ten thousand tons of water resources annually. Additionally, in the color sorting process, the company uses pollution-free water-based color sorting technology, effectively avoiding secondary pollution caused by traditional dyes.
