On August 5th, the intelligent plastic crushing, washing, and processing line of China Resources Environmental Group's Dianzi Boyuan Environmental Protection officially commenced production, marking a key step in extending and strengthening the industrial chain and vigorously promoting the high-end, intelligent, and green development of the industry.
Enhance and extend the chain, turn waste into treasure
Zihuan Electronics Boyuan Environmental Protection, located in Panyu Industrial Park, Daye City, Hubei Province, is a leading domestic comprehensive service provider for harmless resource recycling. It focuses on the recycling, dismantling, processing, and reuse of waste resources such as discarded household appliances, small appliances, motor vehicles, and electromechanical equipment. Since December last year, Zihuan Electronics Boyuan Environmental Protection has addressed the low utilization efficiency of waste plastic resources generated during the dismantling of discarded household appliances by upgrading and renovating an intelligent plastic crushing and cleaning processing line based on the original small appliance dismantling workshop.
The production line involves crushing, cleaning, and sorting to convert the plastic casings of waste household appliances into high-value-added recycled materials, which can be widely used in fields such as textiles, automotive, and electronic packaging. It has an annual capacity to process 10,000 tons of waste plastic, equivalent to a reduction of approximately 40,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and saving about 50,000 tons of oil resources.
Intelligent assistance, high quality and efficiency
Breaking away from path dependence and avoiding the "old ways"! Zihuan Electronics and Boyuan Environmental Protection empower the recycling of waste plastics through innovation. The traditional plastic recycling industry has long faced issues such as coarse sorting and unstable quality of recycled materials. Boyuan Environmental Protection, in collaboration with research teams from Wuhan Institute of Technology and Shanghai Second Polytechnic University, has made critical breakthroughs in processes and technologies, such as small home appliance plastic type analysis and micro-plastic treatment.
To address challenges such as low sorting efficiency and high impurity residue, super-gravity separation technology is introduced. By generating centrifugal force through high-speed rotation, this technology enables high-precision separation of mixed foreign materials in raw materials, significantly improving product purity and material added value while reducing equipment wear risks. At the same time, internationally advanced automated sorting technology is adopted, integrating optical recognition, density separation, and AI intelligent algorithms to accurately distinguish waste plastics of different materials and colors, achieving sorting purity of over 99%.
Green and Low-Carbon, Environmentally Friendly
Zihuan Electronic Boyuan Environmental Protection upholds the concept of green and low-carbon practices throughout all stages of plastic recycling. To prevent dust pollution that easily occurs during the crushing process, they have introduced a negative pressure enclosed collection system combined with pulse bag dust removal technology, establishing a dust prevention and control network covering the entire production line and creating a clean production workshop.
Unlike the traditional plastic crushing and washing process, in which water resources are discharged directly after a single use, Boyuan Environmental Protection adopts a three-stage water circulation system. Through multi-stage filtration, spatial sedimentation, and the deep integration of a circulation network, washing water is treated in stages. This reduces the water consumption per ton of plastic from 8 tons in traditional processes to less than 0.3 tons, with no wastewater discharged during production, saving nearly ten thousand tons of water resources annually. In terms of color sorting, pollution-free water-based color sorting technology is used to avoid the secondary pollution to the environment caused by traditional dyes.
