Blond Technology, Robot Materials, Some Customers Have Entered Mass Supply Stage
August 13th,Golden Hair Technology (600143.SH) stated on the investor interaction platform that the company is currently collaborating with several leading industry enterprises on the research and development of materials related to embodied intelligent robots. Some customers have already entered the mass supply stage. At the same time, the company is advancing deep joint development projects with multiple potential clients, and results are expected to gradually materialize. At this stage, although the sales volume of robot materials accounts for a very small portion of the company's overall product structure and has a limited direct impact on short-term performance, based on the assessment of the long-term development trends and technological iteration prospects of the robotics industry, the company will continue to strengthen its R&D investment and market expansion in this field to proactively seize future growth opportunities.
In terms of performance, Kingfa Sci. & Tech. Co., Ltd. expects to achieve a net profit attributable to shareholders of 550 million to 650 million yuan in the first half of 2025. Compared to the same period last year, this represents an increase of 170 million to 270 million yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 44.82% to 71.15%.;
Reasons for performance growth:
During the reporting period, the company intensified efforts in new product development and optimized the product structure of modified plastics, achieving steady growth in both sales volume and gross profit in the automotive, electronics and electrical, and new energy industries. Meanwhile, it accelerated the advancement of its global layout, leveraging technological advantages and localized service capabilities to secure overseas orders. The scale of overseas business grew rapidly, continuously expanding growth potential.
In the second half of 2024, Kingfa Technology’s Vietnam facility was successfully put into operation; in February this year, the company’s Spain facility also began production. Currently, overseas facilities in Poland, Mexico, Indonesia, and other countries are being constructed at an accelerated pace.
The company continues to strengthen the synergy between the green petrochemical sector and the modified plastics sector within the industrial chain. Through technological upgrades and process optimization, it achieves cost reduction and efficiency enhancement. The company also actively develops high-end specialty material products, accelerates the progress of integrated synthetic and modification projects, and enhances overall operational quality.
Benefiting from the increasing demand for domestic industrial chain autonomy and control, the company’s specialty engineering plastics business has accelerated innovation and application development in high-frequency communication and AI equipment fields by leveraging its technological advantages. This has significantly increased customer penetration, driving rapid growth in both product sales and gross profit.
As of now, the production capacity of Kingfa's specialty engineering plastics is 34,000 tons per year, covering 21,000 tons of high-temperature PA, 6,000 tons of LCP, and 6,600 tons of PPSU. In the future, the company will further explore innovative applications of semi-aromatic polyamides, LCP, and PPSU/PES products in emerging fields such as electronics, automotive, and humanoid robots.In terms of production capacity, Kingfa's project for an annual output of 15,000 tons of LCP synthetic resin was originally planned.The phased commissioning will begin in June 2025; the project for producing 8,000 tons per year of long carbon chain polyamide and other specialty polyamides is expected to be commissioned in March 2026.
