Anti-Dumping Preliminary Ruling On Polypropylene (PP) Corrugated Boxes By United States (US) At 83.64% Tax Rate
On August 26, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a preliminary anti-dumping ruling on polypropylene corrugated boxes imported from China. The preliminary determination set a uniform national duty rate of 83.64% for China, with an adjusted deposit rate of 73.10% after offsetting subsidies. This case primarily involves products under the U.S. Customs code 3923.10.9000. Unless further postponed, the final anti-dumping determination is expected to be issued on November 12, 2025, concurrently with the countervailing duty final determination.
On April 7, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce initiated anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations on imports of polypropylene corrugated boxes from China, and initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of polypropylene corrugated boxes from Vietnam.
