30 Ton/Year Polyolefin Elastomer Catalyst Industrialization Project Approved
Recently, the annual production project of 30 tons of high-end polyolefin elastomer catalysts by Zhejiang Xingchuan Xingguang New Materials Co., Ltd. has been approved for record filing.

The perimeter wall and temporary roads have been completed. The first-floor slab of the Category C warehouse has been successfully cast, and the Category A warehouse is also about to reach structural topping-out.The project successfully acquired the land at the end of May this year and officially commenced construction in June. According to the plan, the project is expected to be completed in March 2026 and officially put into operation in June of the same year.

As the first project at the pilot base of CAS (Zhejiang) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. to successfully achieve industrialization, it provides a demonstrative example for overcoming the “last mile” challenge in the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements through a full-chain transformation path of “laboratory results—pilot validation—industrialization.” Upon completion of Phase I, the project will achieve an annual production capacity of 110 tons of high-end polyolefin elastomer catalysts and intermediates, significantly enhancing the added value of the polyolefin industry chain. It will break the long-standing foreign technological monopoly and market blockade in the field of polyolefin elastomers, and holds important strategic significance for achieving independent control over “chokepoint” materials in key areas.

It is understood that after the project is fully operational, it will significantly enhance China's self-supply capacity of high-end polyolefin elastomer materials in key areas such as photovoltaic modules, automotive parts, and wires and cables, markedly reducing the reliance of related industries on high-priced imported materials from abroad, and effectively ensuring the safety and stability of China's high-end polyolefin industry chain.
