[PA66 Daily Review] Demand Remains Moderate, PA66 Market Trends Weakly

1 Today's Summary

①、 [Longzhong] 6/22: The second round of U.S.–Iran talks made some progress, and there were reports that navigation through the Strait of Hormuz has improved, pushing international oil prices lower. NYMEX crude oil futures (July contract) settled at USD 74.82/bbl, down USD 1.78/bbl (-2.32% day-on-day). ICE Brent futures (August contract) settled at USD 77.90/bbl, down USD 2.67/bbl (-3.31% day-on-day). China’s INE crude oil futures (Aug 2026 contract) fell by 3.2 to RMB 510.5/bbl, and the night session dropped by 8.8 to RMB 501.7/bbl.

Based on the domestic PA66 engineering plastics chip market, as cost-side pressure persists, the reference price of domestic PA66 producers today is RMB 17,500–19,000/ton, unchanged from the previous trading day. Raw material costs lack strong support, downstream demand is sluggish, and the industry’s overall fundamentals are relatively weak. Polymerization plants are maintaining low operating rates, traders are operating cautiously, and market offers are fluctuating downward. Spot cargo prices in Yuyao, East China, are referenced at RMB 17,500–18,500/tonne, cash payment, self-pickup. 。
