February 13th news, the topic of a man driving a Tesla for Huolala has recently attracted public attention.
According to reports, the blogger "A Bouncing Salted Fish" updates his daily life as a Huolala driver on a short video platform. "33 years old, unemployed, driving a Tesla for Huolala, challenging to earn over 10,000 yuan a month, Day X" is the title of each of his video posts.

Because the delivery vehicle is a Tesla, which is quite different from the typical Lala Move (Huo Lu La) vans, and many people are curious about the actual working environment and income of Lala Move delivery drivers, this blogger has attracted the attention of some netizens.
The blogger told the media that he used to work for an internet company. After becoming unemployed last year, he started driving his Tesla for Lalamove due to not meeting his salary expectations during his job search and a stroke of luck.
The blogger said that because of the limited cargo space in his Tesla, he only takes small delivery orders, which are more like errand services. Sometimes he also takes carpooling orders.
The most I earned in a single day was over 1,000 yuan, because it was New Year's Eve, and the platform offered subsidies. I worked from 9 AM until the early hours of the morning that day.
Most of the time, my daily income is around 300 to 400 yuan. However, since I rarely work a full month, I haven't calculated my monthly income, so I haven't reached a monthly salary of over 10,000 yuan. For example, in December last year, I worked 20 days and earned 7,000 yuan. But if I were to work consistently every day, I should be able to earn over 10,000 yuan a month.
Although the monthly income looks quite decent, the blogger frankly says that using a Tesla to drive for Lalamove is not cost-effective, because Lalamove causes more wear and tear on the car.
The blogger explained that each tire on his car costs over a thousand yuan, and if he were to replace them, he'd need to replace all four, which would amount to 4,000 to 5,000 yuan. He'd have to drive for more than half a month just to earn that money back.
But now I've come to terms with it. A car is a consumable, and in difficult times, it can be sold to generate cash. One supports the car when one is rich, and the car supports one when one is poor.
The blogger also revealed that while working for Lalamove, they were also trying to manage their short video channel. Although they can find a regular job now, they feel a bit restless with the current situation. If the short video venture succeeds, that's great; if not, they'll slowly look for better opportunities, which they believe would be better than earning a fixed salary.
