ZOMAplast s.r.o.

ZOMAplast split off from its "mother" – the then state-owned Přerov Chemical Works – as the first privatised company. From typical maintenance activities, especially pipework, over time the production programme became focused mainly on tanks. Eighteen years ago, ZOMAplast took over the ChemResist Praha company, with its technology for the production of coiled tubes. This technology determined the direction of the further activities and the current position of ZOMAplast. With the continuous development of tank production technology and recent use of higher-quality materials, which are often more difficult to process, we succeeded in developing exports to Western European markets that include Italy, Holland, England, and Luxembourg, and, through intermediaries, also the USA, Turkey, and Cyprus. These exports have enabled ZOMAplast to raise the technical level of its products and to change its approach to technical solutions – higher equipment quality is required, together with uncomplicated design, high intensity of processes (mixing, heating...), a high degree of unattended automated operation, better economy of space, more sophisticated instrumentation, and often strict one-purpose operation. In the case of absorption exhalation systems for export, literally the same is required – minimum dimensions, intensive gas cleaning. The customer portfolio of "ZOMA" has not changed much over the years: chemical plants, power plants, pulp mills, glassworks...
