Chongqing Wanke New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (shortened as "Chongqing Wanke") is engaged in the food-grade PET high molecular new material project located in the Nantang Economic Zone of Fuling District. The project is planned to cover an area of approximately 800 mu, with a total construction area of over 2 million square meters. Currently, there are more than 600 employees. This project is a response by Zhejiang Zhengkai Group to the national call for targeted support of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area. It fully grasps the strategic opportunities presented by the national western development strategy, the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and the promotion of green development along the Yangtze River Economic Belt. In line with the group's development strategy of "going global and bringing in", the project is wholly owned and constructed by its subsidiary, Wanke New Materials Co., Ltd., and officially moved into Fuling in August 2018. The project plans a total production capacity of 1.2 million tons. Its main products are widely used in the fields of drinking water, hot-fill beverages, carbonated drinks, edible oil, alcoholic beverages, and food, light industry, electronic packaging. Phase one of the project was commissioned in March 2020, and phase two was commissioned in January 2022. By December 2021, Chongqing Wanke achieved an annual output value of approximately 5 billion yuan. It is expected to reach a total production capacity of 1.2 million tons and an output value of about 10 billion yuan in 2022.
