Unispice was founded in 1991 with only 40 blackberry boxes and a vision to improve and influence the industry. A dream to enhance the relationship and efficiency between growers and consumers. We knew that increasing our products’ quality and shelf life would help revolutionize and impact the industry. Since then, we have been developing state-of-the-art packing and processing plants and packaging technology. Once we noticed that the source was becoming increasingly important, we started our own farming operations to ensure transparency and traceability within the food industry, tracing each piece of produce directly to its source. Unlike existing players in the current supply chain, we knew there was a more efficient way of supplying fresh produce for the world. We manifested a brand new, fully-integrated system to produce food that is sustainable, traceable, scalable, and competitively priced. Our values are important. Our values make us who we are. They are the foundation of everything we do – it is our mission to live up to them every day. We believe in constant growth for everyone who interacts with Unispice - our staff, our customers, our suppliers, and our shareholders included. Not to mention our produce, too! Okay, so we may not be able to do the impossible, but we can challenge what is considered “impossible” - continuing to follow and fulfill. Because our mission to have continued growth for all the people that interact with us, no matter if they are clients, providers, collaborators, or partners, is a mission worth fighting for. Here at Unispice, we have a strong moral compass that is always guiding us. We are true believers that doing the right thing is always the right way, even when no one is watching.
