This extension project aims to propose interdisciplinary interventions focused on the control of musculoskeletal pain at the Health School Unit (USE). The INTERDISCIPLINARY PAIN COURSE encourages and invites all professionals to deepen their knowledge in order to provide integral and integrated assistance to patients with pain. The course proposal is to specialize professionals with competencies from various areas to support the management of pain cases, recognizing it as the fifth vital sign. After completing the course, students who pass can attend and retake classes if they wish. Students with availability can participate free of charge (at no additional cost) in the Pain Specialization Clinic that offers interdisciplinary pain treatment through the Unified Health System.
