I’m Debbie Chan, the founder and designer of The Nursery Blind Company. My mission is to create beautiful, design-led roman blinds, which are easy to measure and fit and, most importantly, are completely safe. As a professional nanny travelling the world, I learnt from experience the power of a good night’s sleep. Especially the ability to dim the light at any time of the day to signal sleep time in a cosy and tranquil room. I also absolutely love fabric, colour and design, so 15 years ago I became a professional soft furnishing designer and maker. I wanted to design roman blinds that not only fit your window perfectly, but also blend in with the rest of your home – providing you with a gentle backdrop to an otherwise hectic life. With a reputation for exceptional quality, I now have a small team of dedicated experts with years of sewing experience, who equally enjoy creating beautiful items that make you smile. My favourite place, when I am not out exploring the world with my family and our rescue spaniel Sparky, is the quiet sanctuary of my Cheshire studio.
