Plants use essential oils to protect against harmful organisms. Essential oils have become an important area of Research & Development to replace pesticides and synthetic antimicrobials. Our unique patented encapsulation technology enables us to release and deliver the active Terpenes when and where they are needed. Our patented technology uses natural hollowed particles to encapsulate the active Terpenes. In the presence of moisture, the particles swell, slowly releasing their Terpene payloads. When dry, the particles shrink and close, holding onto their Terpene payloads until the next moisture cycle begins again. Effectively, the product works when and where it is needed! Our university based R&D is constantly working to find the optimum combinations of terpenes for specific applications working synergistically with our YP Technology. We cooperate and work with universities and independent laboratories worldwide in R&D, Efficacy, Toxicology, Stability, and Ecotoxicology evaluation. TerpeneTech is active in 3 European regulatory categories: Medical Device 2017/745 TerpeneTech is manufacturer of Medical device class 1 product Biocide Product Regulation 528/2012 TerpeneTech obtained Biocide Regulation Article 95 listing for the Active Substance Géraniol, and is now an ECHA listed supplier source for Geraniol for use in Repellent PT19 and Insecticide PT18 products. Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009 TerpeneTech is a manufacturer and data holder of Cosmetics products. All of manufacturing facilities are located in proximity to the distribution territories and have ISO9001 and ISO 13485 (Medical device) Standards registration. We can manufacture small and large batches of ready to use bulk, concentrates and finished products.
