Technical Service Consultants (TSC) has been manufacturing high-quality microbiology consumables in the UK for over 30 years. We are one of the first companies to successfully obtain EN ISO 13485:2016 Certification alongside our new ISO9001:2015. From early innovations (TSC created the first bacterial bead preservation system, Protect cryobeads) through to products for bioluminescence (ATP) testing, TSC has constantly evolved products in response to customers' feedback. Starting in the clinical field with dry swab collection kits and Probact M40 transport swab systems, which are CE marked and comply with the European Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, TSC has an extensive range of swabs to meet user requirements, ranging from paediatric and infection control to large animal and forensic. The Enviroscreen range has been developed to specifically address the needs of customers in the food, drink and pharmaceutical industries. Our Surface Sampling Kits include hygiene sponges, meat carcass sponges, hygiene swabs, pre-moistened swabs and poultry boot swabs, all ideal for customers who need a variety of ways to collect and manage their samples, to ensure the quality of their products and get them released quickly and safely into their supply chain. Our cost effective disposable inoculation loops, inoculation needles and 'L' shaped spreaders are designed to accelerate throughput in a busy laboratory without worrying about scratching the surface of an agar plate or the hazards associated with flaming a reusable metal loop. TSC also operates its own plastic injection moulding company under the Goodbrand Plastics brand and facilities are available for OEM manufacture.
