Welcome to the “World of Rod”! We like to think of Super Rod as a big family, involving both our team as well as the hundreds of thousands of customers we have all over the world. We have been building our community since 2001, when we started to design and build our cable rods here in the amazing Welsh Valleys. We are located in the town of Blaenavon, a World Heritage Site whose population played a part in the industrial revolution. So whilst we may not be Silicon Valley, we are surrounded by a culture of innovation dating back over 200 years. Today, our original Super Rod sets and innovative attachments are still a must for any electrician, helping you work smarter, even on the most complex of installations. Our approach is to 'Listen, Innovate and Deliver' in everything we do. LISTEN to the needs of our customers and understand the problems tradesmen face every day. The next stage is to INNOVATE. Our tools are designed to overcome problems and difficulties. Working with end users, we develop product solutions, which allow you to work smarter, not harder! Then we DELIVER. We, at Super Rod and Klein Tools UK demonstrate our commitment to industry standards and excellence by being active members of key associations in the electrical field. The Electrical Distributors Association (EDA) is a reputable trade organisation focused on supporting electrical wholesale distributors in the UK. It provides valuable resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy for its members, ensuring we stay updated with industry trends and best practices. Additionally, being part of EDATA, an association devoted to promoting data standards and efficiency in the electrical industry, underscores our dedication to streamlined operations and data integrity. Moreover, our affiliation with CEDIA, the global association for the home technology industry, showcases our involvement in the smart home and home automation sector, emphasising our commitment to cutting-edge technology and innovation within the electrical landscape. Through these memberships, we actively engage, learn, and contribute to the advancement of the electrical industry. Super Rod proudly collaborates with NAPIT on various projects for the continuous development of our industry. NAPIT is a leading Government-approved and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited membership scheme operator in the building services and fabric sector. We are also members of SELECT, the trade association for the electrical contracting industry in Scotland.
