Our Industry was established in 1923 by the illustrious son of the soil, Sri. A. Shunmuga Nadar who was the founder of this organisation. We are manufacturing "COCK" brand Fireworks of different varieties such as Sparklers, Crackers, Ground Wheels, Pin Wheels, Flower Pots, Rockets, Fancy and Novelty items. Initially, we started with the production of Safety Matches. Later, we expanded our business sphere and produced Colour Matches. Then we entered the fireworks domain and we manufactured Sparklers. In fact, we are the pioneers to introduce the fireworks items to the Indian Nation. Today, we have as many as twenty five factories under our control employing 9,000 workers. Our products are being manufactured with Pyrotechnic Aluminium Powder Combination as well as Black Powder Combination.
