In recent months, we have put to the test the new technical underwear Oxyburn. The new line is dedicated to autumn-winter, so what better time to test it than the transition between the two seasons? We have tested three pieces extensively, essentially the complete kit! Long pants Talent, socks Discovery, and shirt Extreme. Now comes the doubt: should we start from the head or from the feet to tell you about these Oxyburn pieces? Extreme: a truly ultralight shirt, in weight and not in keeping the body warm, that fits like a second skin. If it didn't have that slight tendency to ride up during running, which we had already noticed in a previous test, the sensation would be just like running bare-chested. We have tested it up to ultra distances and the absence of seams is truly magical. It does not irritate or rub anywhere. Additionally, the layer in Dryan, an ultralight and durable fiber, but also bacteriostatic and dermatologically tested, really allows the shirt to dry quickly as promised! Here’s just a tip, as you can see from the sheet below, you will probably need an extra protective layer in the full winter. It has a medium compression tight weave and you can really feel the benefits over long distances. A perfectly snug layer that doesn't cause the slightest discomfort. The temperature regulation is, to say the least, perfect: at no point, from the cold start, does the winter air reach the legs. COMPOSITION 95% PP – 5% EA – WEIGHT MEDIUM COMPRESSION MEDIUM – TEMPERATURE RANGE -20°C • 30°C – PRICE 54.90 euros Discovery: this sock has made us fall in love. Knee-high, an evolution of the previous Discovery half cut, it is extremely protective. As stated in its data sheet: “the self-hygienizing insole equipped with an anti-blister system promotes heat dissipation, thus avoiding sweating and ensuring absolute comfort. Designed for long distances, the sock protects the foot through differentiated and cushioned densities.” We can only confirm everything. Guys, it's truly fantastic!
