In many cases, it is the law to have a spill kit on hand in case of spills or leaks. One that is often unknown is HGV are Lorries. All HGV and Lorries should have a spill kit either in the cab or attached to the chassis. There are other cases where spill kits are required such as in manufacturing plants, factories and chemical storage depots. There are some situations where it isn't the law to have a spill kit but it wouldn't be a bad idea either. Many people have oil tanks at home feeding their boilers, leaks and spill can sometimes happen and having an oil only spill kit onsite would be a safe quick way of cleaning up the spill/leak. We have a great line of bunded oil tanks with sizes ranging from 710 litres to 10,000 litres. Our bunded oil tanks have a 1" BSP outlet and overfill prevention valve as standard.
