Speelotheek Foliant

At the Speelotheek, you can borrow toys for children and adults from 0 to 99 years old. You will find blocks, dolls, puzzles, and games, among others. Who can become a member? People from the region polder to Kempen: Schoten, Brasschaat, Brecht, Essen, Kalmthout, Schilde, Schoten, Stabroek, Wijnegem, and Wuustwezel. You can earn points with the uitpas and you can take the light subscription with the chance rate. At the Speelotheek, you can borrow toys. There are two options: 1. You can have your order prepared at the Speelotheek and indicate when you will collect and return the order during opening hours. 2. You can have it delivered to the library of Schoten. You can return and pick it up during opening hours, even during unmanned opening hours. You may keep the toys for 4 weeks. After that, you return them to the Braem library in Schoten or to the Speelotheek. Except for large items such as bicycles, rocking horses, wobble boards, garages... these must be picked up at the Speelotheek. You can extend the loan period once by 4 weeks. If the toy is broken, a staff member will discuss with you how to repair or compensate for the toy. You can order up to 6 items per loan depending on your subscription choice! On-site borrowing is not possible!
