KayCey® garments are specially designed to meet the needs of parents/carers of children with additional needs. We have listened to our customers to create a garment that is both fun and functional and makes your life that little bit easier…we know your days are tough enough, clothing should be the easiest part. KayCey® is proud to give your child a garment that is excellent in quality, highly durable and easy to use. We have gone to great lengths to source our garments from ethical manufacturers to provide you with a cotton elastane blend that is super soft. KayCey® garments are designed for children and adults with additional needs who need adaptive clothing as part of their everyday routine. The range of conditions are endless. We have thought of everything from what fabrics to use to who will be using our garments to meet your child’s additional needs. The fabric used to make our KayCey® range of garments are AZO free and consists of 95% cotton and 5% elastane. AZO free dyes do not contain any harmful, toxic or carcinogenic compounds. This means you can feel safe when wearing our products, knowing that there are no potential health risks. The fabric is gentle to the touch and tag-free, allowing your child freedom to participate in daily activities without irritation or discomfort and minimises any sensory issues. KayCey® bodysuits are designed with a longer leg and reinforced crotch area giving your child extra protection and coverage. We have incorporated five extra durable press studs to keep wandering hands away from pants or nappies, preventing unwanted poo/faecal smearing. Its topstitched seams minimize the curling of the garment openings and maintaining comfort when used with braces and prevents ‘wedgies’ when lifting a child in and out of a wheelchair. KayCey® garments come in a variety of colours suitable for boys and girls namely grey, white, navy, sky blue and pink. There are a range of conditions where a child can benefit from a KayCey® bodysuit. As a general rule, they may be used by children who are single/double incontinent, smear, shred nappies, undress frequently and/or who have stomas for PEG/tube feeding or access for the removal of waste or the administration of medication. The following conditions could require (but not limited to) a KayCey® bodysuit: autism; eczema; cerebral palsy; downs syndrome; rett syndrome; global development delay; children in braces and wheelchairs; children with supra-pubic catheters; angelman syndrome; fragile X; and lissencephaly etc. The list of places where KayCey® garments can be used daily is endless. Our parents and carers have found uses of KayCey® not only at home but also in residentials, hospitals, and special needs school. We find parents find them very useful for days out to the beach or parks as well as camping. Either way their use is highly beneficial in the interaction with children with special needs.
