We are a Michigan business to the core. The entire SP Industries team, including the owners, live near our Hopkins manufacturing facility. We are accessible. When you call, we answer the phone – that includes our CEO, who provides his personal cellphone number to customers. We build better. As a small manufacturer, we focus on quality over quantity. We build custom equipment with close attention to detail. Every piece of equipment we build is tested and inspected on three important criteria: functionality, build quality, and equipment fit & finish. These high standards ensure that every SP Industries customer receives a product capable of outlasting and outperforming the competition (We still have machines in operation that were built in the early 80s!) We use only domestically sourced structural steel components for our equipment foundations. (e.g. I-beam, C-channel, Tube, Angle, etc.) Many manufacturers cut corners by using formed sheet metal components on their Frames & Rams, impacting the performance and durability of their machines. We use high-quality, name-brand components. We have partnered for many years with top suppliers including Baldor Motors, Vickers Pumps & Valves, AB Electrical Components, and US made hydraulic cylinders and binder ratchets. We stock most components for easy replacement or can drop ship parts directly to you from the manufacturer. We believe in buying American. Today, a huge number of components are made overseas, with varying degrees of quality.
