Slide Fire Solutions

Slide Fire Solutions was founded by Jeremiah Cottle, a retired Air Force disabled veteran, who spent many years recovering from his injuries suffered while serving overseas in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2005, Jeremiah returned to his grandparents’ family farm in Moran, Texas after losing his home waiting for the governments promised support to its veterans to finally arrive. Effectively homeless, with two young children to provide for, Jeremiah began his long and difficult recovery process. While fighting through a brain injury that left him unable to drive for six years and getting clean after years of “pain killer” use; Jeremiah got back to his roots of hunting and fishing to deal with his challenges. Using the designed creativity and fabrication skills that Jeremiah’s grandfather, Buster Cottle, taught him years ago on the farm – Jeremiah crafted the original Bump Stock out of a simple 2″x10″, duct tape and PVC pipe. The proof of concept worked amazingly well and from that Slide Fire Solutions was born. Astonishingly, after starting all operations out of his bedroom on December 15, 2010 – Slide Fire quickly grew into one of the largest employers of Moran, Texas (pop. 226) and surrounding areas. Jeremiah was blessed to have his grandfather, Buster, oversee the production line; while his grandmother, Julie, took care of the welfare of all the employees. Outside the scope of the family, Slide Fire prided itself in providing jobs for local veterans and their families. Many lives, that fought for our country overseas, were pulled out of certain demise thanks to the Bump Stock purchasers of the past. As we reboot, we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality American made products for the best possible experience. As of now, we are a very small operation. Jeremiah had to travel across country to retrieve the old tooling and is working tirelessly to stand all of the other parts of the business back up.
