The crusher designed and manufactured by our company is one of the machines in China capable of directly producing limestone powder that meets the particle size standards required for use in CFB boilers. Air pollution in our country is primarily coal smoke-type pollution. As a nation where coal is the main energy source, accounting for over 70% of total energy, the combustion of coal generates nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and dust, which are emitted into the atmosphere, causing air pollution. SO2 is a toxic gas with extremely strong corrosiveness. It can irritate the mucous membranes of the respiratory organs of humans and animals, causing direct harm. More seriously, SO2 in the atmosphere is oxidized to SO3 under the influence of light, combining with water vapor to form "acid rain," which destroys the ecological environment. Currently, the area affected by "acid rain" in our country has exceeded 40% of the national territory. Therefore, flue gas desulfurization and the control of air pollution have become urgent, and countries around the world are researching methods for flue gas desulfurization. In recent years, a new combustion technology, the circulating fluidized bed boiler, has developed globally. This type of boiler can burn various qualities of coal (including lignite), not only improving combustion efficiency and making full use of energy but also economically and effectively reducing the emissions of SO2 and NOX, significantly improving the quality of flue gas emissions and protecting the environment. The combustion temperature of a circulating fluidized bed boiler is only between 830°C and 900°C, resulting in minimal generation of NOX during the burning process. The desulfurization effect of a circulating fluidized bed boiler relies on the addition of limestone during combustion, allowing the sulfur in the coal to react with the calcium in the limestone, forming calcium sulfate. When the molar ratio of calcium to sulfur is 2, the desulfurization efficiency exceeds 90%. For this reason, circulating fluidized bed boilers have received widespread attention and application worldwide. The fuel coal used in circulating fluidized bed boilers is granular. During the combustion process, larger particles of fuel coal are located in the lower region of the combustion chamber. As the height of the combustion chamber increases, smaller fuel coal particles mixed with bed material enter the circulation path of the thermal loop. When the mixture of fuel coal and bed material is fine enough, it escapes with the flue gas, leaving the circulation path of the thermal loop. Therefore, manufacturers of circulating fluidized bed boilers strictly specify the particle size distribution of the fuel coal and the added limestone. The limestone powder for desulfurization produced by our SSJ model crusher complies with the limestone particle size standards for use in circulating fluidized bed boilers (the current selected standard is the limestone particle size curve from Foster Wheeler). The system for producing limestone powder using the SSJ model crusher features a simple process, low initial investment, and low operating costs: after the raw material enters the machine, it directly produces limestone powder that meets the usage standards for circulating fluidized bed boilers without needing any screening, sorting, or selection equipment. The cost-performance ratio far surpasses that of imported equipment. The SSJ model crusher has a reasonable structure, easy installation, simple operation, and convenient maintenance.
