When our parent company Depotel Gayrimenkul Ltd. Sti. started re-selling and distributing women's underwear, shapewear, bras, and maternity clothing in the early 2000s, this newly starting venture was just another product category in the companies inventory. Depotel has been operating as a distributor at the busy business district of Fatih, Istanbul selling and exporting various textile products. As time passed women's shapewear and underwear business grew and outsold all other products that are sold by Depotel at the time. So as the business grew, Depotel management created another company/brand specifically for women underwear/shapewear business, and that's when Shapewear Wholesale was born.
