Shady Lady Lampshades is a British designer/maker of unique, bespoke lampshades in gorgeous fabrics, all handmade in our workshop in Somerset by us. I have selected some well known fabrics and transformed them into lampshades – Cath Kidston fabric lampshades, Designers Guild fabric lampshades, Sanderson fabric lampshades, Harris Tweed fabric lampshades & Liberty fabric lampshades to name a few and have mixed them with some lovely quirky, retro, vintage and floral print lampshades. I can make all sizes ranging from a small bedside table lampshade up to huge 100cm diameter ceiling pendant. Custom-made lampshades using your own fabrics are a great way of using up a leftover remnant of fabric, I can make in most fabrics as long as they are not too thick. The possibilities are endless! I can trim in pom poms and braid and can also line the insides of lampshades in silver or gold or a contrasting fabric – the choice is yours!
