Save Plastics

Together with you, we work towards a livable world, where we reuse plastic waste. Our vision is a circular world, where we use what we already have and see 'household plastic waste' as a valuable raw material. A raw material that we use to create sustainable products for outdoor spaces and housing construction. We have been a leader in this for many years. By seeking local solutions for local issues, less import and export is needed, which reduces CO2 emissions. We are happy to share our knowledge and connect with local initiatives. Together for a better future! Building a dock from recycled plastic saves 7,500 kg of waste plastic from the incinerator. For an average dock, you save 9,750 kg of CO2 emissions from transporting hardwood and exporting plastic waste. And 2,400 kg of hardwood can stay as a tree. Plastic recycling gives waste a second, third, and even ninth chance to have a usable function in society. By using the abundant raw material of post-consumer plastic waste, there are lower production costs, less CO2 emissions, and we contribute to the solution to the growing waste problem. In 2021, we opened our first green plastic factory in Almere – the very first in the Netherlands. Here, plastic gets a valuable repurposing, and new products are made from difficult-to-process plastics from urban waste streams.
