Safeplast Oy is a company that specializes in manufacturing protective sleeves for hydraulic hoses. Our standard textile sleeve for hydraulic hoses, known as Safe-Sleeve, is designed to protect people nearby a breaking hose and is pin hole-approved. Safe-Sleeve features an economical and safe choice for hose protection, produced from polypropylene which is very hard-wearing and recyclable. It endures acids and alkalis well, tolerates both freeze and heat, and is UV-protected. The standard color is plain black, with other colors available upon request. Our Safe-Sleeve fulfills the European standard EN ISO 3457, which states that hydraulic hoses must be protected when operating pressure exceeds 5 MPa or temperature exceeds 60 °C. In addition, the protectors must be strong enough to stop, spread, or turn the fluid from directly hitting the operator once the hose breaks. Available in various sizes and lengths, Safe-Sleeve is an essential product for ensuring safety in hydraulic operations.
