Founded in 1979, Roboplast has become a large Group operating internationally, providing sustainable packaging solutions for mainly the food and pharmaceutical market. The company still belongs to the family by whom it was founded and maintains its operational responsibility, flanked by a solid managerial structure and in continuity with the initial intuition of the founders Carlo Oderda and Rosetta Bonanomi (hence the name RO-BO plast). Sustainability and the Environment We are committed to constantly identifying ecologically and economically sustainable solutions, capable of contributing to the construction of a circular economy in which nothing is wasted. The Group, with head office in Italy, has three operating locations: two manufacturing plants in Italy and Poland and a sales/logistic platform facility in Canada. Overall, the Roboplast Group has 300,000 sq. ft. of covered manufacturing and warehouse space, with over 150 employees and 30 production lines. It produces over 13,000 tons of film rolls and more than 250 million thermoformed trays every year. The company Stampotecnica is also part of the Group. It produces almost 100 new molds and equipment for thermoforming every year, as well as developing and manufacturing short runs and prototype series. The R&D department is the center of all Roboplast product manufacturing processes. We provide tailor-made solutions that suit all our customers’ needs, both in the creation and customization of materials and in the design and development of shapes and molds. The Extrusion department was created because of the need to control and customize all Roboplast products starting from raw materials to be used and with an eye on eco-design. We produce rolls of film for the food and medical-pharma sectors, with customized solutions and a specific focus on FFS (form-fill-seal) applications. The Thermoforming department has over 40 years of experience in industrial manufacturing, focused on the study and design of custom-made products. Currently, custom production is complemented by specific products offered in our catalogue, with a growing number of items studied and treated in detail with the same precision & accuracy.
