Our company is a Hong Kong-funded enterprise, mainly producing wires and cables. The parent company, Qidong Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. of Hong Kong, was established in 1969. We have subsequently set up two subsidiaries in Dongguan and Singapore, and we have also established a factory in Shandong through a joint venture with the U.S. and the Shandong government. Qidong Wire & Cable Co., Ltd. of Dongguan, founded in 1994, covers an area of 30,000 square meters and is one of the first batch of foreign-funded enterprises introduced to Sha Tin Town. Our company enjoys abundant and stable orders, with over 95% of our products being exported. In 2012, we were recognized as one of the top five exporters in Sha Tin. In Hong Kong, our products are widely adopted by major public institutions such as China Light & Power Co., Ltd., PCCW, the Hong Kong Buildings Department, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department of the Hong Kong Government, the Hong Kong Housing Authority, and various renowned construction and elevator engineering companies.
