State Energy Group Ningxia Coal Industry Co., Ltd. was established on January 18, 2006, as a state-owned energy enterprise jointly formed by the State Energy Group and the People's Government of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. With a registered capital of 21.11 billion RMB, 51% is held by the State Energy Group and 49% by the Ningxia State-owned Capital Operation Group Company. The company's main businesses include coal and coal-to-oil and chemical industries, with operations spanning deep coal processing and comprehensive utilization, machinery manufacturing and maintenance, and energy project construction. In the coal sector, it has 14 pairs of operating and under-construction mines, one coal washing unit, and an annual coal production capacity of 65 million tons; in the coal-to-oil and chemical sector, it has completed modern coal chemical projects such as coal-to-oil, coal-based olefins, coal-based methanol, and polyformaldehyde, forming a production capacity scale of 4.05 million tons of synthetic oil products, 3.5 million tons of methanol, 2 million tons of polyolefins, 60,000 tons of polyformaldehyde, and 1 million tons of other chemical products, capable of converting 34 million tons of coal annually. The company has successively won national honors including National Civilized Unit, "May Day" Labor Medal, Model Unit for Ethnic Progress, and Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of Central Enterprises.
