Dongming Luteng Chemical Co., Ltd. is a specialized, modern, and international company dedicated to the research, production, and sales of "one-carbon chemistry" related products and their downstream derivatives. From 2007 to 2008, the company closely collaborated with several renowned universities and research institutions, forming a professional edge. It constructed the first domestically owned low polymerization degree granular continuous spray granulation formaldehyde polymer production facility with an annual capacity of ten thousand tons, producing the best quality, internationally-standard low polymerization degree formaldehyde polymers in China. This filled a domestic gap, achieved a technological breakthrough in spray granulation formaldehyde polymers within the country, and caused a stir in the formaldehyde polymer industry, sparking a wave of process technology upgrades among domestic formaldehyde polymer manufacturers. In 2009, after visiting some of the early pioneers in "one-carbon chemistry" and professors from major research institutions working on methylal projects, the company invited over a dozen experts engaged in the research, design, and production of methylal to form a technical task force. A core team comprising professionals in chemical engineering processes, chemical machinery equipment, and chemical electrical instrumentation was assembled, developing a three-thousand-ton level methylal facility that reached international advanced standards, which went into operation by the end of 2009. Following the methylal project, the company will focus on increasing its efforts in the development of one-carbon chemistry.
