Jiangsu Jiasheng New Materials Co., Ltd. was established on September 12, 2002, and is located in Lian Gang New City, Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province. It owns several subsidiaries including Hainan Shihua Jiasheng Chemical Co., Ltd. and Odfjell Jiasheng Terminal. The 360,000-ton expandable polystyrene (EPS) project of Dalian Jiasheng New Materials Co., Ltd. is located in the Songmu Island Chemical Industrial Park, Puwan New Area, Dalian, with a total investment of 1.2 billion RMB. The company was established in December 2010, covering an area of 209,751 square meters, with a registered capital of 100 million RMB. This project meets the requirements of Dalian's urban development plan. As another key industrial project settled in the Songmu Island Chemical Industrial Park, after its completion, it will become the leading enterprise in Dalian's EPS new material industry, further promoting the optimization of local industrial structure, driving the healthy and sustainable development of the local economy, and forming a complementary and supportive situation with other petrochemical industries in Dalian, which is of great significance to local development. The EPS produced by the company will mainly be used as packaging and building insulation materials. Based on over ten years of sales development by the Jiasheng Group, a relatively complete sales system has been established in Northeast China, and the products can be exported to Japan and South Korea. In the future, with the opening and development of North Korea, there will be a huge demand for EPS.
