Chuzhou Hongda Mould Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a private shareholding enterprise located at No. 488 Fengyang Road, in the southern part of Chuzhou City. It is adjacent to the Beijing-Shanghai Railway to the east, close to the Hefei-Nanjing Expressway to the south, and near the scenic and historic site, Langya Mountain, to the west, enjoying a superior geographical location with convenient and developed transportation. The company covers an area of 10,000 square meters, with a factory building of 4,000 square meters, and total assets nearing 30 million RMB. In April 2002, it was recognized as a technological enterprise by the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Currently, the company has become the largest mold manufacturing private enterprise in Anhui Province. In terms of technology and manufacturing capability for vacuum forming molds and foaming molds for refrigerators and freezers, the company ranks among the top three in China, alongside Kunshan Sanyuan Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. and Haier Mould Co., Ltd. It is one of the key national mold enterprises supported by the state and benefiting from the national value-added tax rebate policy. In 2001 alone, the company achieved a production value of 17.35 million RMB, sales of 16.85 million RMB, profit of 846,000 RMB, and paid 1.727 million RMB in taxes. Its per capita output and tax payment rank at the forefront in the same industry within the province. The company places great emphasis on enhancing the technical level of its products. The large-scale precision plastic molds - vacuum forming molds and foaming molds, independently developed and produced, passed the provincial product appraisal and high-tech achievement recognition on February 28, 2002. The appraisal concluded that the overall level of the products reached domestic advanced standards, with some key technical indicators filling domestic gaps and reaching domestic leading levels. In June 2002, these products were recognized as high-tech products by the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology and listed in the Ministry of Science and Technology's 2002 National Key New Product Plan. At the 9th China International Die & Mould Technology and Equipment Exhibition in Shanghai, they were rated as molds of international standard.
