Dalian University of Technology Safety Equipment Co., Ltd. is one of the first batch (in 1992) of municipal technology enterprises recognized by Dalian City. The technologies used in its products have completely independent and innovative intellectual property rights, and were listed as national new products in 1991, 1992, 1994, and 1996, and included in the National Torch Program project in 1997. The product technology won the Third Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 1995 and the First Prize of the National Education Commission's Science and Technology Progress Award in 1997. In addition, it has also won one Second Prize and two Third Prizes for Provincial and Ministerial Level Science and Technology Progress Awards. Founded in 1988, Dalian University of Technology Safety Equipment Co., Ltd. is located in the beautiful coastal city of Dalian, and is an economic entity closely integrating teaching, scientific research, and production; it is a major base in our country for the concentrated study of preventing explosions caused by overpressure in chemical installations; and is a key component of the Doctoral Discipline Point in Chemical Process Machinery at Dalian University of Technology. The company currently has 4 professors, 1 associate professor, 2 senior engineers, and dozens of engineers, technicians, and assistant engineers, with a strong technical force and powerful capability for technological development. It has completed a series of significant scientific research and technological development projects related to safety pressure relief technology for chemical installations for the state and various ministries and commissions, focusing not only on the fundamental applied research of theories and equipment for preventing and controlling overpressure explosion disasters in chemical fluids, but also on timely converting research and technological achievements into high-tech products: special rupture disk devices and new dual-action pilot-operated safety valve devices. The company now owns 4 invention patents, 4 utility model patents, 12 proprietary technologies, and 3 software technologies. It has completed the national "Eighth Five-Year" science and technology project, "Research on Explosion Prevention and Suppression Technology for Pressure Vessels." Our company was the main drafter and formulator of the mandatory national standard "Rupture Disks and Rupture Disk Devices" - GB567-1989, 1999 editions, and also participated in the drafting of the current "Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Pressure Vessels" (2000 edition) by the State Administration for Market Regulation. We are now mainly engaged in the research, development, and manufacturing of process industry safety technologies and products, and are a specialized designated manufacturer with "Rupture Disk Device Manufacturing License" and "Safety Valve Device Manufacturing License," certified under the "ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System." Our products have been widely applied in more than 1,000 large and medium-sized enterprises across industries such as oil, chemicals, energy, metallurgy, power, fire protection, and national defense.
