Datang Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: the Company) is a subsidiary of Datang International Power Generation Co., Ltd., which belongs to one of China's top five power generation groups, China Datang Corporation. The Company serves as an entity responsible for the early-stage development of energy and chemical industries under the Datang Group. Established in December 2008, it actively ventured into new energy and chemical fields. Its main business scope includes the production and sales of coal-to-olefins, coal-to-natural gas, and other products, with its operations spanning across energy chemicals, thermal power, hydropower, engineering construction, and marketing sectors. In addition, it also engages in technology development, technology transfer, technical consulting, engineering design, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of chemical and power equipment, as well as import and export of goods. The major completed and ongoing projects of the company include: the world's first large-scale coal-based olefin product project using low-quality lignite, the Inner Mongolia Datang International Xilin Gol League 460,000 tons/year polypropylene industrial demonstration project; the first coal-to-natural gas project approved by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Inner Mongolia Datang International Keshiketeng 4 billion cubic meters/year coal-to-natural gas project; the Liaoning Datang International Fuxin 4 billion cubic meters/year coal-to-natural gas project, as well as fertilizer projects, hydropower projects, a chemical research institute, an engineering company, and a marketing company.
