Croda Sipu is the only production company invested in by Croda on the Chinese mainland, with a registered capital of 50 million yuan, located in Mianyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 220 mu. The headquarters of Croda is located in Yorkshire, UK, and it is a listed company with 88 years of history in chemical production, leading in the global specialty chemicals industry, with annual sales of 1 billion pounds. In 2013, Croda ranked 25th in the "Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World" and first in the UK. Croda has invested in building sales, R&D, and production bases in 43 locations across 34 countries. Croda Sipu mainly produces erucic acid, erucamide, and derivative products using natural oils as raw materials, which are widely used in textiles, coatings, pharmaceuticals, food, petrochemicals, and daily chemical industries. The market share of its main product, erucic acid, has reached 80% in the domestic market, over 60% in the Asian market, and close to 20% globally.
