CNOOC Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. (shortened as CNOOC Petrochemicals) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CNOOC, mainly engaged in the refining of petroleum, production, sales, storage and transportation of petrochemical products, R&D of petrochemical technology, and engineering design. CNOOC Petrochemicals adheres to the industrial layout of "two continents and one bay" and the sales network layout of "one river and two lines". The petrochemical bases in Daya Bay, Huizhou, and Daxie, Ningbo are listed among the seven major bases in the national petrochemical industry planning. It has fully integrated sales resources, forming a three-level sales system of "sales region - provincial and municipal companies - gas stations", conducting sales business in 21 provinces and cities across the country. "CNOOC 36-1" heavy traffic asphalt, "Haijiang" lubricants, and "Hai Zhi Run" environmentally friendly rubber plasticizers are well-known domestic brands. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, it plans to invest nearly 100 billion yuan to construct key projects such as the third phase of Huizhou Petrochemical and the fifth phase of Daxie Petrochemical.
