Dalian Chenda Used Car Recycling Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture between Huachen Group and Dongda Group within the Dalian National Eco-Industrial Demonstration Park, to carry out the business of used car dismantling and parts remanufacturing, building a closed-loop system for the automotive industry chain, and creating a large-scale industrial cluster that integrates used car dismantling, parts remanufacturing, and new auto parts manufacturing. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the project is planned to have an investment of 7.498 billion yuan, covering an area of 6.3 square kilometers. The area for car dismantling, crushing, and remanufacturing covers about 1.47 square kilometers, with an investment of 4.498 billion yuan, forming an industrial scale capable of dismantling and crushing 2 million vehicles per year and remanufacturing 10 million parts (sets) per year. Downstream extended industries include precious metal catalyst projects, copper cathode plate projects, Benxi distribution center, and waste tire recycling and processing projects.
