Dalian Asama Mold Co., Ltd. was established as a wholly Japanese-owned enterprise in the Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone, registered and invested by Asama Seiki Co., Ltd. of Japan on December 5, 2001, with an initial investment of 70 million yen and a registered capital of 49 million yen. After four rounds of capital increase, the total investment has reached 362.7 million yen, and the registered capital is now 255.2 million yen. The company mainly engages in the manufacturing and design development of precision plastic molds, processing and assembly of precision mechanical parts, and plastic components. All equipment is imported from Japan, including machining centers, wire cutting machines, electric discharge machines, CNC milling machines, milling machines, grinders, injection molding machines, and image measuring instruments. The company is located at No. 27 Liaoning Street, Guangshen Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Supporting Park, Dalian Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering nearly 2,950 square meters across three plants: offices (on the second floor), mold workshop (on the first floor); molding workshop; and assembly workshop. Currently, there are 3 Japanese staff members and 160 Chinese staff members. On July 24, 2006, the company obtained ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System certification.
