Zhumadian Extruded Polystyrene Board has several thin plastering systems. We have previously discussed the construction technology of the Zhumadian Extruded Polystyrene Board thin plastering system in detail. Now, let's explore the construction technology of embedding and pasting mesh fabric for external wall insulation using extruded polystyrene boards:
1. The so-called embedding and pasting of mesh fabric involves using a trowel to initially spread a distance horizontally from the center, then smoothing the mesh fabric up and down to ensure it closely adheres to the underlying polymer mortar.
2. Stretch the large area mesh fabric in the length and horizontal direction. Note that the side of the mesh fabric that is bent should face inward when starting the large area embedding. The overlap width of the mesh fabric should be 100mm on the sides and 80mm on the top and bottom; wrinkles, hollow areas, and edge curling of the mesh fabric should be avoided. The mortar should be fully saturated, and dry overlaps are strictly prohibited.
3. At the expansion joints, the mesh fabric needs to be wrapped. The size of the mesh fabric pre-glued to the wall surface should be 80mm. Use the mesh fabric and bonding mortar to cover the ends of the extruded polystyrene board. It is allowed to apply bonding mortar at the edges of the extruded polystyrene board here, and the mesh fabric pasted on the large wall surface should cover the 80mm overlapping mesh fabric and be embedded together in the underlying polymer crack-resistant mortar.
4. At the internal and external corners of the wall, the mesh fabric must be embedded and pasted from both sides of the wall and wrapped around the corners, with a mutual overlap width of not less than 200mm.
To ensure the construction technology of the Zhumadian Extruded Polystyrene Board thin plastering system is followed, it is essential to adhere strictly to the construction procedures. Do not compromise on workmanship to avoid unnecessary consequences!
