1. Product Description
YTL-VX cross-laminated self-adhesive waterproof membrane is a high-performance, cold-applied, unreinforced waterproof membrane. It is made from synthetic rubber, asphalt, adhesives, and anti-aging agents as the base material, with American imported strong cross-laminated film as the surface material, and uses a non-adhesive release paper/film as the separation layer of the self-adhesive waterproof membrane. It features tear resistance and dimensional stability.
The bonding performance and the bonding strength with the substrate are beyond imagination.
2. Product Performance
Resource-saving, reducing resource consumption, while providing excellent waterproofing effects, high-standard waterproofing achieves better efficacy with layered construction.
Safe and environmentally friendly, using cement-based materials for wet application, no primer required, hot melt, no volatile solvents, no fire hazards, no personal injury.
YTL-VX cross-laminated self-adhesive waterproof membrane is suitable for harsh construction environments, capable of handling wet and uneven substrates with ease.
Strong resistance to damage, easy to repair if damaged.
Cement-based bonding material covers and protects, providing rigid waterproof functionality, achieving two lines of defense with one layer of waterproofing.
No risk of "water channeling," allowing for easy identification of waterproof damage points based on leak points, facilitating repairs, low maintenance costs, truly achieving 100% "self-shrinking" properties.
Simplified construction application, easy and convenient to operate.
The new production line can produce 2M wide rolls, reducing overlaps, speeding up construction, achieving better results, especially suitable for large area applications.
3. Application Range
Waterproof projects for basements, roofs, etc.
4. Physical and Mechanical Properties (in accordance with GB 23457-2009 National Standard)
5. Construction Process
Before waterproofing construction, remove any protrusions from the substrate and clean it thoroughly.
Fully moisten the substrate in advance, then apply cement slurry. If the substrate has poor flatness, cement mortar can be used.
Cut the membrane and peel off the release film from the underside of the membrane.
Roll the membrane onto the cement (mortar) slurry.
Remove air from beneath the membrane while securely adhering the overlapping edges of adjacent membranes (overlap width is 60mm).
6. Precautions
The membrane should be stored in a dry, ventilated environment to prevent exposure to sun and rain.
Membranes of different specifications should be stored separately. Membranes should be laid flat, and the stacking height should not exceed four layers.
Keep away from fire sources, with a shelf life of one year.
During transportation, membranes should be laid flat, and must not be tilted or cross-pressed.
