Huashuo Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was established as a shareholding company through the overall restructuring of Hubei Chemical Research Institute, approved by the People's Government of Hubei Province (Document No. [2008] 146). The company has a registered capital of RMB 130 million and focuses on research and development, technology transfer, training, and services in chemical new materials, new chemical products, and new chemical processes. It also engages in engineering design and construction related to these fields. The company develops, produces, and sells equipment, instruments, and meters for optical communication and electronic materials, industrial catalysts and purifiers, chemical and pharmaceutical intermediates, building and construction chemicals, and fine chemical products. It acts as an agent for the sale of chemical products and additives. The company operates export businesses for self-produced products and technologies and imports raw materials, machinery, equipment, instruments, spare parts, and related technologies required for production and research (excluding goods and technologies prohibited or restricted by the state from import and export). It also handles material processing and "three comes and one supplement" business. Located in the East Lake Development Zone of Wuhan City, the company covers an area of 260 mu (approximately 173 acres) with total assets of RMB 540 million. The company has 730 employees, including 2 national experts, 11 provincial experts, 26 experts enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, and 6 experts enjoying special allowances from the Hubei provincial government.
