Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor Paper Function Introduction

Vapor corrosion inhibitor paper is made from rust-proof base paper and a specially formulated VCI liquid, processed through a special technique. Inside a sealed packaging space, the VCI contained within the paper begins to sublime and volatilize rust-proof gas factors at normal temperature and pressure, diffusing and penetrating to the surface of the items being protected and adsorbing onto it, forming a dense protective film layer of a single molecular thickness, thus achieving rust prevention.

1. The rust-proof paper should be in as close contact as possible with the surface of the items being protected, with no obstacles in between.
2. The surface of the items to be protected should be clean, dry, and free of foreign substances before packaging;
3. If the surface of the items to be protected is regular, a full coverage method can be adopted (the area of the vapor corrosion inhibitor paper should be similar to the surface area of the item) and seal the interface. It can also be used as an inner lining or interlayer padding in a sealed packaging unit (like turnover boxes, plastic bags, etc.).
4. When packaging, wear clean gloves to operate, and avoid touching the items being protected with bare hands.
