Product Description:
The X-type seal is a commonly used sealing element in hydraulic cylinders. It is a typical lip seal that can achieve good sealing performance whether used for pistons or piston rods. The U-type seal, under low pressure conditions, relies solely on the lip's interference deformation to create a seal. Due to its small contact area, the frictional force is relatively low. As the pressure increases, the elastic deformation of the lip increases, leading to increased tensile, compressive, and bending stress. The radial compression force of the U-type seal automatically increases, and the length of contact with the sealing surface continuously increases until the entire axial length of the U-type seal contacts the sealing surface, thereby ensuring good sealing performance under high-pressure conditions.
