I. Applicable Geological Conditions for Eccentric Reaming Casing Following Downhole Hammer Drilling System:
When drilling in rock and soil layers or overburden, to ensure the stability of the borehole wall after drilling, the follow-up engineering with casing is designed reasonably with high strength, comparable to similar foreign products in terms of service life, especially suitable for fractured rock and soil layers.
II. Usage Method of Eccentric Reaming Casing Following Downhole Hammer Drilling System:
1. The casing following system can be divided into two types: casing rotation and non-rotation. The casing rotation type is driven by a rotary head to rotate the casing while the drilling rig applies axial pressure to push the casing forward; the non-rotation type impacts the casing through the inner shoulder of the casing shoe while the drilling rig applies axial pressure to push the casing forward.
2. Before drilling, the two elastic cylindrical pin holes at the end face of the drill tail must be spot welded to prevent the pins from loosening and the guide drill bit and reaming drill bit from falling to the bottom of the hole. When replacing the guide drill bit, the welding slag on the drill tail pin hole end face must be removed first, then the elastic pin, long pin, and steel ball must be taken out for replacement.
3. Connect the eccentric reaming drilling tool with the impactor, connect the impactor with the inner drill rod, drive the inner drill rod to rotate with the rotary head, and use the positive rotation mode to extend the eccentric reaming drill bit, drilling the center hole and reaming around it. The casing follows up simultaneously to reach the required depth, then reverse the inner drill rod and the eccentric reaming drill bit to retract the reaming drill bit to the center position and pull it out of the casing. If the bottom of the hole is a consolidated layer or hard rock layer that requires further drilling, it is necessary to replace it with another suitable diameter conventional downhole hammer drill bit and continue drilling into the consolidated layer or hard rock layer.
