2. Method of using the eccentric reaming casing follow-up downhole hammer drilling system:
1. The casing follow-up can be divided into two types: rotating casing follow-up and non-rotating casing follow-up. The rotating casing follow-up is driven by a rotary head that rotates the casing while the drilling rig applies axial pressure to advance the casing. The non-rotating casing follow-up impacts the casing through the inner ring shoulder of the casing shoe while the drilling rig applies axial pressure to advance the casing.
2. Before drilling, the two elastic cylindrical pin holes at the end face of the drill tail must be point-welded to prevent the pins from loosening and the guiding drill bit and reaming drill bit from falling to the bottom of the hole. When replacing the guiding drill bit, the welding slag on the end face of the pin holes must be removed first, and then the elastic pin, long pin, and steel ball must be taken out for replacement.
3. The eccentric reaming tool is connected to the impactor, and the impactor is connected to the inner drill rod. The rotary head drives the inner drill rod to rotate in the forward direction, causing the eccentric reaming bit to extend. The central hole and the area around the reamed hole are drilled while the casing follows up. Once the required depth is reached, the inner drill rod and the eccentric reaming bit are rotated backward to retract the reaming bit to the center position and withdraw it from the casing. If further drilling is required in a consolidated or hard rock layer at the bottom of the hole, a suitable diameter conventional downhole hammer drill bit must be replaced and returned to the hole to continue drilling into the consolidated or hard rock layer.
